McModel HG 1/144 Hi-Nu Gundoom Review – Part 2

I think my reviews are getting longer as time goes by or maybe model kits, models, figures and so on are getting more and more complex? At any rate, this review will be pretty long with the 200+ photos. I think some are overdone as I took some extra angles but the shots look good enough to be part of the review and be a waste to simply not show.

Thus, enjoy the long-ish part 2 of the review. You can read the 1st part here.

Before we begin, a note to those who have yet to build theirs or plan to buy the Gundoom.

Please keep these small pieces you get when you poke them out of the wings of light effect parts. There are a total of 6 which has current and future uses as aurora stickers. Thanks to ZD for the notice.

The Hi-Nu Gundoom out trumps the HGUC version in many ways. =D

And yes, the Gundoom is more imposing and spells DOOM to his opponents. XD

I kinda disagree on the plastics being better than Kotobukiya, as I was building the Takemikazuchi right before the Gundoom, and I think the Gundoom is slightly below of Takemikazuchi. I can’t really say compared to the older Koto kits though.

Nice review, I pretty much agreed on every points you made :).

There’s always the possibility of Koto improving themselves. Haha.
