Robot Damashii Strike Freedom Review

Price: 3500 Yen
More info on the X-20A Strike Freedom Gundam @ MAHQ.

This is a horribly belated review. I blame my sudden urge of gaming busier real life. Nonetheless, I don’t want to skip this out just because of timing problems. It may not bring upon a plausible purchase consideration as the product has been discontinued (but there might be some local shops having this in stock or there might be a reissue in the future though). This will be a rather long review (not as long as another RD figure though, since posing this guys was rather troublesome) but I’m typing this with some time constraints so I won’t be editing the omake just yet.

looking good, aside from my standard selfish nitpick on figures with their messy paintjob and nubs. and that dragoon holder doesnt really look practical. with the use of RD OOQ ring, that looks like how SF dragoon attacks in GvG if im not mistaken.

while most people hate Kira, i rather see Shinn gets pwned

The paintjob was pretty much “Great” for this one though, as with the rest of the RD line so far. The only nitpick I can give would be the horrendous nub marks when you see them.

Is that so? I didn’t really play the GvG games… I should see that in action. XD

I don’t hate Kira or have anything real against his character (sides for the bad writing for the second half of the series) but the twist was more fun for me to do that SF blasting Destiny away like some mid-boss. :P

    LoL at the omake. XD

All in all, the RD SF is very flexible and easily pulls off any action poses.

Wonder what happens when emo boys go up against a bunch of (grunt) lunatics? XD

So the RD SF is the size of a regular HG….
I didn’t expect that, since most RDs are little shorter than HGs….

Some RDs, if the Gundam is about 18m, normally is about the same height as their HG counterparts as the height is pretty much fixed at 12.5cm. :)

And God! That NG 1/144 SF is really Fugly!!

haha well compared with the HG strike Freedom, this is ways better with the sharper sculpt and added articulation!

Ahoy! This SF version was a lot sleek than my HG SF. Sugoi! :D

Great review. I got this fig together w/ the limited wings and I must say that this is a very incredible figure of the Strike Freedom.
